Heading for Kuala Selangor

I didn’t get much sleep yesterday.
I was so confused about karma and how I should behave in my daily life that my head became too clear.
It was a Muslim festival or something, and the hotel was noisy.

Just because I had not slept well didn’t mean I had to be idle in a hotel.
Today I’m going to go to Kuala Selangor to see the mangroves.

Kuala Selangor is located about 60 km from Kuala Lumpur. The train doesn’t seem to go through, so you have to take a bus to get there.
It’s famous for the illumination of fireflies that live in the river.
I wanted to see fireflies, but I gave up this time because it would be late and I wouldn’t be able to take pictures with my camera.

I ate a loaf of bread that I bought at a convenience store, which looked bad for my body, as I did yesterday, and hurried to the bus terminal.

Hmmm. Dangerous taste.

Where’s the bus?

I came to the bus terminal.
I relied on information on the Internet to find a bus with the number 141 written on it.

Where’s the 141st bus?

Even though it’s a bus terminal, it’s like a city bus in Japan, so the hurdle is quite high.
I had no choice but to ask the bus attendant’s aunt because there was no information on where to go.

“I’d like to go to Kuala Selangor.”
“That’s the way to go.”

I tried to go that way, but there was no No. 141 bus.
Hey, where’s the 141st bus?

A few buses with numbers close to 138 or so pass by, but the 141 bus doesn’t come.

I wanted to get on a bus quickly and go to Kuala Selangor, but I wandered around the bus terminal for nearly an hour.

I was also tired of wandering around, so I decided to sit on the side of the road and wait until the 141st bus came.

I was wondering if the bus was still there when the bus stopped in front of me.
What is it? Just as I was thinking, the driver’s uncle
“Hey! Where do you want to go?”
He spoke to me.

“Kuala Selangor”
“xxxxxxx,100!”
“What?”
“xxxxxxx,100!”
“Huh? Money? do you mean a hundred ringgit?”
“Nononononon, take the number 100 bus!”
“Oh, that’s the 100 bus, not the 141.”
“Come on, it’s the number 100 bus!”
“Thank you!”

I was finally able to get on the bus to Kuala Selangor.

Empty information

The internet is flooded with information.
You can get any amount of information you want by searching.

However, I feel that really useful information is becoming harder and harder to come by.
If you search for an appropriate word, it’s always a just summary or a curated site, and the contents are often empty.

There are a lot of websites run by companies that are desperate to earn advertising revenue from the number of views.
Some of the information is just a summary of what someone has written on the net, while others has no content.

When I was a student, I was often told not to swallow the information on the Internet, but to take care of the books whose sources are known.

See for myself

I was swayed by the information on the Internet about the “141st bus”.
The “141 bus” is written by a person who actually went to Kuala Selangor, but it is better to check it by myself instead of trusting foreign information immediately.
With a little bit of suspicion, I should have immediately asked the locals if I could get to Kuala Selangor on the “141 bus”. I’m sorry for being shy.

Have we forgotten the act of not believing what someone said, but doubting it and checking it with our own eyes?
A quick search on the Internet will give you the answer, and you may be deprived of time to think about it for a moment.

I was completely deprived of the time to “think about it for a minute”.

In this day and age where we can easily pick up information on the Internet, it is important to doubt and think a little. Then, you have to see it with your own eyes and see for yourself.

Virtual reality (VR) is all the rage these days, but no virtual reality can compare to reality.
No scene in a film can compare to the one you see with your own eyes.

“Let’s do it, let’s do it.
