Walk on Kepong
It’s a mistake.
It was closer to the Forest Research Institute at Kepong Central Station.
But for some reason I got off at Kepong Station, one step before Kepong Central Station.
I wonder if he thought it would be faster to walk.
However, when you are on a trip, it is always more fun to take a detour than to go straight to your destination.
I came across it immediately.
It is a butterfly called “Tatehamodoki”, but it is also found in Kyushu and is widely distributed.
If you go to the Tama Zoo, you’ll find a lot of them.
I’m glad I’ve never had a natural product before.
It’s full of yellow ones.
Chameleon-like lizards.
As I walked through the streets of Kepong, I realized that
Malaysia is richer than I think.
A lot of people walking around here are fiddling with their smartphones, and when you think of Southeast Asia, you’re talking about motorcycles. There are so few motorcyclists that it breaks the image that there are so many cars.
When I walked through the town of Tapa (the fifth day of my stay), I wondered if there was electricity here. Even in the village called “I’m not going to be able to go there”, there were many fine cars dotted around.
It’s probably a pretty wealthy residential area.
But maybe this is what the middle class is all about.
How many miles to the forest lab?
As long as the road is uninterrupted, we can walk to wherever we want to go.
As long as there are no interruptions.
The sidewalk still existed here.
I thought that the sidewalks would continue.
The sidewalks are gone.
I had to walk down the driveway.
There’s a lot of trash down there…
The drain cap is broken…
It’s hard to walk around…
Hey, good luck to the cleaners and builders!
As I continued to walk down the driveway, I was hungry.
Let’s find a place to eat.
I couldn’t find any naan, so I ate naan. Today is definitely the day.
We entered the Indian curry shop in the center of the photo.
I was greeted by a green-clad brother.
I didn’t understand what he was talking about.
When I said “menu”
“Huh?” He said.
As I grunted, the customers around me looked at me strangely.
I couldn’t help it, so I took a picture of the food on the sign outside with my smartphone and showed it to him.
“I want to eat this.”
Brother Green retreated into the back as if he thought of something.
Then a brother dressed in red came out of the room.
I said the same thing to this brother again while showing him a picture from my phone.
“Oh, you want to eat this?
“Yeah, yeah, yeah.”
“Have a seat in the right place.”
Brother Red could speak English.
I was sitting at a table in the back of the store, observing Mario Bros.
Luigi glances in my direction and says something to Mario.
Mario speaks to me.
“This is spicy, but are you okay?”
“Yeah (I think).”
“Luigi grinned for some reason.”
“You want to put this in your naan?”
“What the hell is that?”
Mario has shown me a mysterious object.
“Rock salt?”
“A sugar.”
“Sugar. I don’t want it.”
“You want to get rid of Nan? Do you want to tear it off and eat it?”
“Cut, please.”
We were having a conversation like this when naan and curry came out.
Luigi was appealing to Mario for something desperate.
“You know, I’m sure that’s very hot for you, so get yourself a drink.”
Said, Mario.
“Well,Milo please.
The curry was reasonably hot, but it was delicious.
I glanced over at Luigi and he was grinning again.
Hmmm. I’m pretty full.
The price is about 200 yen.
It’s cheap.
“Where are you from?”
“Japan.”
“What are you doing here?”
“I’m here to take a picture.”
“When you come to Malaysia again, you should come here.”
“Oh! Of course!”
I started walking to the Forest Research Institute again.
To be continued…
