Crowded Monorail

Since I was tired because of walking Batu Caves,I decided to go to the hotel that I booked by Booking.com.

I used to book a hotel through a travel agency, but I can do the same thing only a smartphone app.

Then, I went to Imbi station near my hotel.
The ticket was 1.5MYR. I was so surprised this price because it was very cheap in Japanese Yen.

I didn’t receive change, so I had to buy it at the ticket office.
There was an Indian woman there.

“I want to go to Imbi station.”
“Buy the ticket there.”
“But…hmm…no change given.”
“What?I give you change, buy it.”

She seemed not to want to work,I thought.
It was natural for her not to work because the day was Independence Day.

When I went to platform, I passed a man.
Since I walked near the wall, I thought the man walked wide side of opposite the wall.

However, he walked between the wall and me, and he said “Excuse me.”

Why?

I took a monorail train.
It was not as crowded as Tokyo’s one.

There were three girl students around me.
One of them was close to me.

At a glance, she was so cute.
Why was she close to me?

Thinking about that, I saw cityscape from monorail.

Porcupine dilemma

We keep a professional distance from others.
That is a personal space.
The person who can go into there is partner or friend.

I came Tokyo several years ago.
I have grown accustomed to crowd of people and packed train in Tokyo.
But, I always feel that it is stressful because many people go into my personal space.

In a city, people go into personal space easily.
And yet, they won’t know each other and look as if a NPC(non player character) in a TV game.
Since they think others are just like NPC, they feel they can do bad things toward others.

The population density of Tokyo is one of the largest cities in the world.
Because of the population density, we can’t protect our personal space.
As a result, we tend to think others are just like NPC to protect our personal space.

There are many people in a train, why are they so quiet?

Is a man who is standing in front of me real human?
I usually think so in crowd of people in Tokyo.

There is a difference of crowd of people between Tokyo and other cities in Japan.

The crowd that people always keep of personal space has consideration, because people don’t like to go into personal space each other.

We need a moderate sense of distance.
