TO BATU CAVES
I like psychedelic things.
Also I like Theravada Buddhism, I really like psychedelia of Hinduism.
I don’t really know about Hinduism but I like the episode that “ Ganesha was cut off his head, then an elephant head was mounted Ganesha’s body.
Batu Caves, the holy place of Hinduism is in the city near Kuala lumpur.
I took a train from KL Central to Batu station.
The ticket was about 4MYR.
When I bought this ticket, I got a plastic coin.
What?
I didn’t know how to use this coin.
I thought this coin was wrong, so I got in line to ask about this.
The people who bought train ticket received same coin I had.
Using the coin, people went through ticket gate.
They touched the gate with the coin.
So, I did the same thing.
I could go through the gate.
This is so called token.
I didn’t know how to use token because a train ticket is made of paper in japan.
I waited the train for Batu station.
The train didn’t come readily enough.
Waiting for about 30 minutes, the train came at last.
I had to stand in this train because of congestion.
MY LEGS WERE TIRED
After 30 minutes, I arrived at Batu station.
There were many street vendors because Batu was tourist spot.
I wanted to buy a statue of Hinduism god, but that was a little big and I gave up it.
After 5 minutes walking, I arrived at Batu caves.
That was very big.
And it was hot.
My legs were tired, so I sat down on the ground.
There were many people who played with Pigeons and took a photo.
I WANTED TO EAT NAAN
I am hungry.
So, let’s look for a restaurant.
Malaysia is multiracial nation.
There are various restaurant, Chinese, Indian, and Malaysian.
I wanted to eat curry and naan, decided to eat maybe Indian restaurant.
When I was thinking to tell about what I wanted to eat, a man came closer to me.
“Hey, eat this nasi goreng.”
“Hmm…(I want curry and naan.)”
“You want this spice!? That’s good!”
“Hmmm…”
“You can choice something to drink over there.”
“Oh…”
He had already placed nasi goreng on plate and I choiced a mineral water.
The price was 7 MYR.
It was very hot and tested like curry pilaf.
I really wanted to eat naan.
TO CAVE
I was full and my leg became good, so I started to go to Batu cave.
I felt like I could go up about 300 stairs.
When I started to go up stairs, I recieved a brick.
????
Did I have to go up stairs with this?
I went up stairs the hard way.
I was worried about dropping my brick.
My legs felt heavy because of my backpack and brick.
I sweated a lot.
However, view from the top of stairs was so amazing.
Let’s go into the cave!
Monkey
This building was made of bricks.
Many gods
This monkey was close me.
And a peacock
The cave was interesting but I was getting tired, so I left there.
I want to come again some day.
When I was going to the station, I found this vending machine.
This was made in Japan.
He came to Malaysia because he had not been used in Japan.
It was so moving to me.
